Rx-310 Introduction to Fire Effects
Description: Provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and communicate the relationships between basic fire regimes and fire effects, the effects of fire treatments on fire effects, and to manipulate fire treatments to achieve desired fire effects.

M-410 Facilitative Instruction
Description: This training course is designed to help students become effective facilitative instructors. The purpose of this course is to improve training delivery and quality by presenting instructional methods with an emphasis on student-oriented adult training techniques.

S-215 Fire Operations in the Wildland-Urban Interface
Description: This virtual, instructor-led course combines the power of online learning, expert coaching, and field exercises located in the places in which you are already invested and familiar with.
You will learn the following:
- The fundamentals of assessing both the fire environment and the WUI.
- Planning and conducting operations in the wildland urban interface.
- The human factors that influence our perceptions and decisions in this space.
- Performing structure evaluations and triage in the field.
- Practice in forming and revising operational response plans based on their initial size-ups and the ever-changing conditions in the WUI.
This class is a must-have for anyone operating in the Wildland Urban Interface which is….everyone in wildland fire.

RT-130 Wildland Fire Safety Training Annual Refresher
Description: The intent this course is to focus line-going personnel on operations and decision-making issues related to fireline safety in order to recognize and mitigate risk, maintain safe and effective practices, and reduce accidents and near misses.

S-290 Intermediate Wildland Fire Behavior
Description: A skills focused course designed to prepare the developing fireline supervisor to undertake safe and effective fire management operations.
Cost: $300
Hours: 40 hours (24 hours self-paced / 16 hours live/online)

Prerequisites: S-190 Introduction to Fire Behavior
S-244 Field Observer & Fire Effects Monitor
Description: Build the skills you need with a flexible, self‑paced online course. Complete the free coursework anytime, and register when you’re ready for expert evaluation, a memo of completion, and personalized support. Six real‑world exercises prepare you for your required field day and your future FEMO/FOBS roles.
