Material to support high quality wildland fire training and mentoring
S-290 Intermediate Wildland Fire Behavior
Description: Maximize your training through more prepared cadre, additional student engagement tools, and revised exercises. We remain dedicated to the S-290 product we designed for NWCG and we continue to see areas for improvement. The resources provided build on the NWCG content – some items were suggested but not accepted by NWCG such as the notes and key terms and questions, others are revisions to errors in the NWCG instructor package such as the missing exercise resource packet, and the rest are documents or revisions that we find most effective when we teach such as improvement to the exercises. We will continue to revise material as we receive feedback. Suggestions can be sent to studentoffire@uidaho.edu .
